History

Haven of Hope Foundation is a tobacco free emergency shelter and transitional facility founded in 2004 and gained its 501(c)(3) and tax exempt status in Novemeber 2010 to provide a safe environment as an alternative to incarceration, lost of children for women with dysfunctional tendencies due to physical, sexual, chemical or alcohol dependency,psychological issues, or homelessness due to the opression of domestic violence. We are an incentive agency to alternative to incarceration.

Haven of Hope Foundation offers educational enhancement recreational activities, life skills, sports and academic assistance for children, Job preparation, affordable housing placement when available, Child care, and counseling as well as mental health referrals.

The program serves families in the New York City area and communities. Specific program activities for children will include homework assistance, arts and crafts, inner - league baseball, basketball, mentoring, and recreation as well as community outreach programs.
